Kia Todd is a native of Philadelphia. After working as Director of Commercial Talent and Vice President of Talent at Sheila Legette Entertainment, a prominent talent management company in the Los Angeles area for several years, she has decided to start her own talent agency.
At a very early age, Kia became a caregiver for her mother and brother. With the help of her maternal grandmother, she was able to assist them with their daily activities of living. By the age of 15, Kia knew that helping people was what she felt most passionate about.
After high school, Kia began an entry-level position in the medical field, and she attended Temple University as a Criminal Justice major in Philadelphia. After working nearly 15 years in the medical field, Kia decided to take the advice of some close friends whom she had met in the entertainment industry and pursue her passion for artist discovery and development full-time.
To achieve her goals, she had to leave her hometown of Philadelphia and relocate to California, where she met and married her husband. She enjoyed helping her husband and others reach their full potential and uncover their hidden talent in order to advance their careers in the talent industry. She has a knack for recognizing talent in others, and keen expertise in helping others to not only discover and recognize their true gifts, but also to teach them how to invest in them and manifest them.
She has strong personal and professional relationships with some of the industry's heavy hitters. Her kind and caring approach and matter-of-fact business savvy have allowed her a seat at many industry tables where her opinion and knowledge are respected. She has since been able to cultivate her natural gift of caring in motivating the advancement of her daughter's and son's budding acting careers. She strongly believes that if you have a dream and an ambition to achieve, she can help you to achieve it.
